Dhaka - The exchange of fire between police and gunmen in the area of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Location shootout ie at a restaurant in the district Ghulsan, diplomatic zone of Dhaka.

"Some unknown number still inside the restaurant," the police official said Gulshan area, Sayedur Rahman.
"We can not be sure whether they are being held hostage," he added.
BBC wrote, Saturday (2/7), the shootout injured three people. The clerk had closed the area and try to negotiate with the armed parties.
Local media said that the Holey Artisan Bakery restaurant, the location of the shootout is a popular place among expats and diplomats. Based on information from the Dhaka Tribune, at least 20 people have been taken hostage.
